Arr

Dead And Divine is having a contest to do with their new album "The Machines We Are". It involves taking photos, Facebook (...gross) and winning "tons of shit". Check it out, RIGHT THERE ->

The Ghost Inside
has said, with their own mouths even, that they will be having a new album within the next year.

The Bled has signed to Rise Records, and will be playing in Grand Rapids on September 14.

A Day To Remember will also be in Grand Rapids on the 30th of September. With some other bands.

The Flatliners and The Snips have a split 7" on the way. The Flatliners are also playing in Toledo, Ohio, with Strung Out. There she be.

Take It Back! has released a new 5 song EP called "Rumours Of Revolt". They have, however, lost their guitarist. Owner of the grittier vocals from "Can't Fight Robots", so the sound is probably not what you might expect. Here's the link: www.myspace.com/takeitbackar

Fallen From The Sky has a new song called "Wolves" up on their site.

More news comin' soon.

Olds vs. News

Have Heartbreak

It's Over. As of October 17th, 2009 Boston's beloved straight edge, hardcore brothers in Have Heart will play no more. This is truly terrible news. As for us, we can be still find the passion in their songs, and hopefully make it out to one of their final shows. They will be doing a final tour, all ending up in their home town of Boston itself on October 17th for Edge Day, where they will play their final show. I will be there. Let's show em what they mean to us.

Now, for happier news:

Evergreen Terrace is releasing a new album titled "Almost Home" due out on September 29th, and have a track up on their myspace, "Enemy Sex", so check it out.
I'm pretty pumped about this, I've gotta say. It's sounding really good, definitely along the
same lines as Wolfbiker, but with more lengthy solos, heavy beats and some real catchy
lyrics. Good stuff.

Crime In Stereo have a new album in the works, coming out in Fall 09' on Bridge 9 records. No news on the title, track numbers or anything really, so keep your eyes pealed. The Bled have also said that they're lookin to release some new material later in '09.
Take It Back! have announced that they should be having an EP come out late this summer, while Bane will be releasing a 7"
Throwdown are in studio, workin on their next release, and These Silhouettes are writing.
Hatebreed and Four Year Strong recently released cover albums of their past influences, featuring some pretty interesting choices.
Both A Textbook Tragedy and Bury Your Dead released albums in june, entitled "Rain City State Of Mind" and "It's Nothing Personal"

Straight Reads The Line have a new song up on their myspace, and Bury Your Dead has samples up.

Noticed that a few bands have been doing interviews and posting them on their sites, check em:
Buried Inside
Bury Your Dead
(video, guitar tech)
Since The Flood
Stick To Your Guns
(on PETA)

Alexisonfire also have a quality interview in this month's edition of EXL@IM!

Continuance have lyrics up and a bit of an explaination as to the fate of Saints Never Surrender

And finally, check out the new Evergreen Terrace video: "Goes to Australia". Top notch. That's it for now, and I'll keep you posted on anything new I dig up.

Have your voice heard!

I've posted a poll on the right side to get some opinions. I've tried to vary the labels as much as possible; if theres a key label I missed shout it out in a comment and I'll toss it in. If you have exciting and valuable news let us know and we'll certainly give a broshoutout on the air this wednesday. Please use your discretion if leaving info for us, we like to be as factual as possible and don't want to spread any empty rumors...or loaded ones at that! Of course we want to do our best to keep this *a place where truth is told*.

Also, I'd like to mention that I was DEAD wrong about With Honor being on Bridge Nine at some point this past wednesday. As I searched for labels to use in the poll, I found alas I was mistaken. I'm sorry for all those who took that information, used it in the past few days and were made to be fools because of me. My sincerest apologies!
