Not exactly news related to this week's show specifically, but I thought I'd give you guys the heads up all the same; Thursday and Thrice have both announced that they will be doing their final tours (for the foreseeable future) in the new year. Check the links for the official statements. Can't say that they've always been in my top 10, but they've made good music over the years so it's sad to see them go.

Hot Water Music has announced that they will be going back into the studio during January and February at The Blasting Room.

It Prevails has a new track up, "Blanket The World". We've yet to hear whether it is going to be released anywhere else, but here's the link for now.

Farewell To Freeway and Baptized in Blood are playing a show in their hometown of Guelph, ON January 13th.

Comeback Kid have two official videos up from their most recent album, "The Concept Stays" and "G.M. Vincent & I".

Casey Jones has confirmed that their upcoming tour will be their last. Ever. Check them out on January 16th at The Magic Stick with Boys No Good, or the day before in Toronto on January 15th.

Stick To Your Guns will be in Windsor on January 10th at New Song Church on Drouillard.

The Ghost Inside will be playing Toledo on January 27th with Attack! Attack!

Misery Signals announced on November 15th that they were working on new demos. Looks like we might actually get some new material from these boys sometime soon...

Cancer Bats will be in London on December 15th at Rumrunners, playing as their "Black Sabbath alter-egos Bat Sabbath".

Fucked Up will be playing a couple shows in Toronto, first on December 20th with PS I Love You and then on the 21st with Sloan, Ohbijou and Bonjay at The Great Hall.

Boys No Good and Casey Jones will be playing in Detroit at the Magic Stick on January 15th.

Windsor boys, The Nefidovs recently played Caesars Windsor and have a couple videos up.

Rise Against is going to be in Flint, MI, on September 7th

Alexisonfire has officially called it quits.

Still anxiously awaiting Polar Bear Club's new album. Read this for details. Also, catch them at the Magic Stick in Detroit on October 6th with Such Gold, Fireworks, and Balance And Composure.

Underoath will be in London at the Music Hall on October 7th.

The Wonder Years are playing in Grand Rapids on September 9th.
