Quicky

Hey folks,
This band The New Enemy friend requested me on myspace; though they are not really my style I thought some of you punkers might be interested to know they have two free ep's up for download on their site. They describe themselves as Punk/Rock/Hardcore and they are from Toronto. Hope you enjoy - Check them out here.

Hope you all had a good weekend and following week.

"...but one man will stand and defy all odds..."

Hey peeps,
Some bands tried to add me on myspace and I felt some were worth actually telling you about.
Accidents (Michigander Hardcore): They have their debut e.p. up for listenin' on their myspace which I will link for you at the bottom; they also have their lyrics posted in a blog. These lucky fellows are currently touring with Continuance and I'm going to try and convince them to contact whoever so that they might get a spot playing in Windsor with them in the upcoming months because I like 'em. Check 'em out!

We Struck Gold is a band hailing out of Bristol in the U.K., they have a sample instrumental up and are currently looking for some more members and just like in my last post regarding May We Dream Forever, I hope that happens and have a lot of anticipation to see what kind of vocals they can track with what they have so far. Check 'em out!

No Blame from Italy has an e.p. and perhaps another e.p. or sophomore release if you will up for download on their myspace through their blog. Talented guys, not my style but I thought some of the fans here my give it a shot and maybe get some free legal downloads out of it if it floats your tug-boat. Check 'em out!

And finally, Night of the Snake, an Ontario band which I personally always try to promote so long as it merits my stamp of approval. These guys are a deathmetal band just trying to make it. Give 'em a shot.

Accidents (East Lansing, MI)
We Struck Gold (Bristol, U.K.)
No Blame (Italy)
Night of the Snake (Ontario)

Thanks guys and girls,
Have a fun reading week/normal week (if you're still in school or working/whatever) :)

Sincerely,
C-Dawg

Il reste que nous mes amis

Hello out there in radio/internet land. Your long lost partner in crime has returned to deliver some news. I figured, instead of telling your partyhardy host to post it, that I would grace you with my new knowledge hot off the brainstem press. Enough of the sillyness already, here's what I got:

xFinal Fightx has made it official, they are splitting up. Final shows have been announced and are posted on their myspace here. Though our relationship has been rough, this remains a shame! Get your OHS HIT! hoodies before they run out. Show some love. Follow the myspace link for further information regarding merch. I did find a side project quite some time ago but have been unable to remember their name for just as long. If I can find it, I'll let you know.

Also, Misery Signals+Comeback Kid+Burning Empires = cool new music. That's right, after the unstoppable Through the Noise tour (which Kieran and I so fortunately had the chance to take part in) a new entity has emerged and have delivered some different but rad stuff. "Scruffy like Kieran's Beard vocals..." said one listener (Beard gets a capitol B for being so scruffy). They are: Lowtalker and you should be excited for their ep set to release in spring 2010.

De plus, Alexisonfire has released a video and a behind the scenes video for their song "The Northern" on myspace; here's the linkage! I apologize if Kieran already posted this news.

Now, I thought that Get The Most was broken up, but it appears their playing two shows in April in Cali with good guys ON and 7 Seconds; would love to be there but unfortunately I'll have finals and lack of resources either way but if you're in the Berkeley area - CHECK it out!

And finally, some bands to check out: Truth And Its Burden (South African Metal), May We Dream Forever (French Happy Hardcore), and Corsair (Warren, MI). MWDF does not currently have a vocalist but the instrumental tracks up on their myspace are awesome; Truth And Its Burden have some pretty cool lyrics and have actually had a pretty illustrious career so far touring with some big name bands like Have Heart and Haste The Day. Corsair is a new band just starting out, they have one song on their myspace but its worth a listen,...or two.

Turned out to be a bigger post then I anticipated, but I hope it was worth it for all. Hope to be on the air again this week. I'll run it by the host-er tonight and maybe you'll see me, maybe you won't. Until sometime, stay sleezy kids (not literally of course...numbskulls).

Oh and I forgot to mention, BANE has some new songs up on their myspace. The newest one has incredible lyrics, it is a must hear. They've released a bunch of 7"s that match their new myspace layout or vise versa and I wish I could get my hands on all of them. They posted the lyrics to all their new songs in a bulletin; check em out.
