Not exactly news related to this week's show specifically, but I thought I'd give you guys the heads up all the same; Thursday and Thrice have both announced that they will be doing their final tours (for the foreseeable future) in the new year. Check the links for the official statements. Can't say that they've always been in my top 10, but they've made good music over the years so it's sad to see them go.

Hot Water Music has announced that they will be going back into the studio during January and February at The Blasting Room.

It Prevails has a new track up, "Blanket The World". We've yet to hear whether it is going to be released anywhere else, but here's the link for now.

Farewell To Freeway and Baptized in Blood are playing a show in their hometown of Guelph, ON January 13th.

Comeback Kid have two official videos up from their most recent album, "The Concept Stays" and "G.M. Vincent & I".

Casey Jones has confirmed that their upcoming tour will be their last. Ever. Check them out on January 16th at The Magic Stick with Boys No Good, or the day before in Toronto on January 15th.

Boys No Good and Casey Jones will be playing in Detroit at the Magic Stick on January 15th.

Alexisonfire's Dallas Green will be releasing his next album as City and Colour on June 7th, dubbed Little Hell. He also has a number of videos up on his site, including music videos for "Sleeping Sickness" and "The Girl" as well as a 'behind the scenes' and 'making of' for some of his newer stuff.

Wade MacNeil of Black Lungs and Alexisonfire will be playing London with The Flatliners and Hot Water Music on June 16th.

Vanna has a new full length on the way, And They Came Baring Bones, set to release on June 21st.

Old Ghosts (new project of former members of Dead Hearts) have set up a bandcamp with a couple rough demos. Worth a listen.

They have 6 webisodes of their time in The Blasting Room Recording Studios in Chicago as well AND have recorded a video for "Help Is On The Way". Aside from that, Rise Against recently visited the BBC in London and recorded three tracks live, which you can get here.

Sights & Sounds have a number of live videos up on their myspace, including one for "Neighbours".

Over The Top are going to release another EP, which you will be able to download for free. You can download their 14 track album Never A Night Alone for free as well from their bandcamp.
