Chasing Time


Rancid has a free audio download of "Last One To Die" available online, as well as a video posted for that very song. They also have a set of 20 webisodes on their myspace for your viewing pleasure.
The Flatliners have a new song up called "Run Like Hell" on their site.

Polar Bear Club has a new album out called Chasing Hamburg. As mentioned last week, Polar Bear Club will be playing on the Bridge 9, o9 Tour, in Hamtramck on October 9th. You can now get tickets right here. Ruiner will also be playing this show. They've also made a recent news post on their blog which includes the departure of their drummer and their 100 shows in 100 days tour.

Grave Maker has released a limited edition Seven Inch Vinyl and Digital Release available on Smallman Record. They've also released a track on their myspace called "Sever Thy Head". Give it a listen

Have Heart posted up some live videos of themselves over the year on Setpember 8th. There are a whole bunch of them from as early as 2004, so take some time ("if you're bored") and give them a chance. Voila.

Farewell To Freeway have a brand new album out entited Time Will Tell and have posted a track or two for your enjoyment. They will also be playing a number of shows, the closest of which will be in Guelph on the 19th of September at Club Vinyl with Abandon All Ships,

has recently released a video for "Too Bright To See" as well. I swear I don't do this stuff on purpose. They also have a video of them having a day off at a lake, if that's more your bag.

August Burns Red is touring in support of their new album, Constellations, and will be in Toronto at the Phoenix Concert Hall on October 12th. The Acacia Strain and Impending Doom will also be hangin out. They also have a free audio download of "Thirty And Seven" off of their new album, through Fuel Magazine online.

Saosin will be in Detroit at St. Andrews on November 22 as part of the PacSun tour. NICE.

Silverstein will be in Toronto with Ten Second Epic, A Day To Remember and I Am Committing A Sin on the 24th of September. Check it.

Crime In Stereo will be in Hamtramck on October 9th with Strike Anywhere, Ruiner and Polar Bear Club.

Fireworks will be at the Mixtape in Grand Rapids with Hit The Lights, There For Tomorrow, Sparks The Rescue, and This Time Next Year on October 10th. Get pumped.

Alright. Played a lot of bands this week who've broken up. Plus many of the bands are still truckin around Europe and elsewhere, so there's not a ton of news this week. But here's what we've managed to find:

Back in the day, Misery Signals made a video for "The Year Summer Ended In June", which was recently uncovered by the bloodhound himself, C-dawg. Professional, produced, and in memory of friends passed. Here.
